Altenew 10th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 1 + Giveaway (over $3,500 in Total Prizes)

Welcome to my Blog and Altenew’s 10th Anniversary Blog Hop. I’m so excited to be part of such a big celebration for Altenew. You’re going to find some fabulous cards and projects at each of the Blogs you’ll visit on this hop. Also, there are a ton of prizes waiting to be won. Just be sure to comment on each of the blogs you visit on this hop.

Here are the two cards I’m showcasing today along with a video on my YouTube channel.

Visit my YouTube channel to view instructions to make these cards.

For both these cards I used the Lovely Camellias embossing folder, along with Antique Gold Pigment ink and Sapphire mixed media ink to highlight the raised edges of the embossed image. For the grey card I used Antique Gold Ink Spray to add some splatters in the background. For the black card I used one of the sentiments from the Build-A-Garden: Sweet Lilies set and embossed it with Rose Gold Embossing Powder the Featured Sentiments Die Set to cut it out.

To start at the beginning of the hop please visit Altenw’s Blog. If you’ve been following along you came from the lovely Erica Andersson. Your next stop is the talented Lien Leysen.

Now for the BEST part. Prizes!

    Hi from Putnam Valley, NY.
I love Altenew’s embossing folders. And when one applies ink as you did, they create spectacular cards. I especially liked the black card stock with the gold ink. The splatter on gray card came out just fine-gave it a nice muted background.

Hi from Indiana! Thank you for the video! These are lovely cards, and I picked up some great ideas from you – like you I emboss samples but store them with the EFs (I also write the sandwich I use on the back) but having them all on a ring is a great way to see all the options together. And I’ve been using one of Altenew’s EFs to batch make sympathy cards, but they are on white. However, I really like the choice of black and gold. TFS!
