Welcome to this month’s: “Laurie’s Something New with Something Old”
This is where I share new ways to use those old favorite Altenew products. Please visit my YouTube channel, @lauriescraps to see a video of how I made this first card, below.
I used Altenew’s Autumn Bounty stamp and die set along with their Woodless Coloring Pencils to color this pumpkin. In the video I show how I used the die cut to embossed the pumpkin.
For this card I used the die to cut out the pumpkin on the front of the card. I also cut the pumpkin out of Vellum and used the Warm and Cozy set of Altenew Artist Markers to color it. I stamped the word happy so that it would line up with the pumpkin and be able to be seen from the front of the card. I used a piece of the double sided adhesive on the inside front of the card to hold the vellum pumpkin in place. Then I used a piece of plastic packaging that comes with the stamp sets on the inside front against the other side of the double sided adhesive. I used Altenew’s Gold Spray Ink spray on the front of the card.
This card’s color combination came from one of Jaycee Gaspar’s YouTube videos https://youtu.be/8NMa9Y12qbg?si=H-2y8r72Wa6xA-eZ. I also used Altenew’s Just Leaves die set.
