Here is my first of 6, mostly simple, cards I’ve designed for this hop. I love the way this one turned out. My great-niece is graduating high school this summer and I made this card for her. I used the new Zellij Tiles 3D Embossing Folder for the background, which I think is just stunning. The sentiment is from the Encouraging Sentiments Hot Foil Plate Set and the flowers are from the Wildflower Garden Add-on Stamp Set. Such a simple card.

This card is just elegant. I used the Zellij Tiles 3D embossing folder for this card too, with black cardstock. The flowers are from the Plum Blossom Layering Die Set, and the sentiment is from the Monsteras and Quotes Stamp Set. I used Rose Gold Embossing Powder on the sentiment. Quick and simple.

This card was a little more work but I like the results. I started with white cardstock and the Moroccan Tile 3D embossing folder. On the smooth side of the folder I used Caribbean Sky and Sapphire Mixed Media ink, using the lighter ink at the top and darker at the bottom to create an ombre effect and then embossed the white cardstock. I had to redo the inking and embossing several times to get the coverage I wanted. Next I embossed the Enjoy Life Stamp on to watercolor paper with Rose Gold Embossing powder. I painted the flower using a combination of Altenew’s Watercolor 36 Pan set and Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set. Next, I die cut the Gateway to Moroccan Die set out of light and dark navy cardstock and gold cardstock to create the “doorway”. I put the flowers in the “doorway” and added a sentiment from One-Go Birthday Greetings stamp and die set.

This is a cute little die set that comes together pretty quickly. It’s the Orange Blossom die set. A little different from their usual flowers but this has such a happy summer feel to it. I die cut the pieces out of different colors of card stock and added it to a card base. No stamping, painting, inking, just simple and quick. I used the Encouraging Sentiments die to add the Thank You.

This card came together very quickly too. I used the Journey Abroad Hot Foil Plate on white cardstock to begin with. Then, using the coordinating Stencil I colored in the stars using a rainbow of soft die ink colors. Next I used the Ornate Nesting Dies to cut out a black and gold tag. I heat embossed the Monsteras and Quotes sentiment in black and centered it on the card. For a little fun I added a few Journey Abroad Enamel Elements to the card. Another quick card.

This last card was quite simple too. I used the Prickly Pear Layering Die to cut out the flowers in white. The background paper is something I had had in my stash for years. It’s always nice when you can use up older stuff to make room for new. The Misty Morning Crisp Dye Ink was a perfect match to the background paper, so I used it to give a little shadow to the flowers. The flower centers were colored with Buttercream Dye Ink. I cut out the sentiment using the XOXO and More Die cut and colored the word Smile with the Misty Morning ink.

Whew, I had a lot to share. Thank you for taking the time to read all the way to the bottom. Now for the fun stuff. Be sure to continue on the Hop to Seeka and leave a comment for a chance to win those prizes.
