Busy, Busy, Busy
I’ve been busy making cards, just not posting about them. Today I want to post one I created with inspiration from Altenew’s Jaycee Gaspar.

He is one of my favorite artists at Altenew and his cards are always a delight. The card he created was for July’s Marvelous Monthly blog hop. I loved it so much I had to try my hand at coloring the die cut flowers like he did.

I first cut out all the pieces for the flowers and leaves from 110 lb. Neenah Classic Crest, Solar White Cardstock. Next, following Jaycee’s example, I colored the flowers and leaves using Altenew’s crisp die inks and their blending brushes. Finally, I assembled the flowers on a piece of white cardstock that I had embossed using a 3D embossing folder.

I hope this gives you the encouragement to try out ideas from other designers.
Have a great day.
