Let it shine part 2
The second card I did for this class uses the Grateful Heart stamp and die set. The instructor was talking about using glitter pens, but I didn’t have the kind she was using but I did have some “glitter” or “metallic” water colors which I thought would work great. I heat embossed the flowers in white on water color paper. I then used Kuretake Gansai in White Gold for the shimmer and mixed it with my Altenew watercolors in Tea Party and Warm and Cozy for a peachy colored flower. I’m really enjoying Altenew’s watercolors. I have both The Artist’s 24 pan set and the 36 pan set. I don’t have their metallic set yet, but someday. After I finished painting and die cutting I mounted everything on the same pearlized cardstock I used in the last card. I thought it looked a little plain so I embossed a frame around the flowers. The white gold watercolor gave a really nice shine to my flowers. I hope the photo shows it off enough.
