I took the week off for my birthday this past week. I had an opportunity to spend some time in my art studio and make a bunch of cards. That’s something that I really enjoy doing. And I do send cards but I seem to have more cards made and I can send. I often send a bunch of them to my mom and then she uses them to send to her friends. It’s a good deal because I get to make cards and she can send them and not have to pay for cards at the Hallmark store. But I seem to have an overflow of cards these days. She doesn’t need anymore. I’ve tried to give some to my sisters but they don’t usually send cards so they don’t want any. Today is national card making day which is great. But how many people actually send greeting cards anymore? I wonder?  I’d be curious to find out how many people actually make cards because it’s fun. Of those cards they made how many do they actually sent? And do any of you sell your cards? I can’t imagine selling my cards because the time it takes for me to design the card and then make the card would make the cost of the card prohibitive. At least, that is, if my time is worth anything. At this point I’m happy to give them away but as I said I don’t know who to give them to. My sisters just don’t want them and my mother can’t use anymore. Just starting a discussion if anybody wants to join in. I’d be curious what you all do with the cards you make.
